About
I make complex information understandable.
I like to make information feel approachable, not overwhelming. Whether designing online learning, instructional resources, websites, publications, or graphics, I look for ways to improve clarity, organization, and accessibility so people can focus on the content, not navigating information.

My Design Philosphy
Good design reduces cognitive load and helps people understand, learn, and act. I use evidence-based strategies, inclusive design principles, and visual clarity to create experiences and communications that are accessible, engaging, and meaningful.
Learner-Centered
Designing with empathy and real-world needs at the center.
Clarity First
Organizing information so people can focus on what matters.
Evidence-Based
Grounding decisions in learning science and proven practices.
Purposeful Aesthetics
Using visual design to support understanding, not distract from it.
Accessible Design
Applying UDL and accessibility best practices.
Continuous Improvement
Listening, iterating, and refining to make learning better over time.
My Story
My career path has been about connecting ideas and people. It began in high school and college where I designed newspaper and literary magazine layouts. That love of design led me through roles in higher education, communications, and professional publishing—always with a focus on making information clear and beautiful.

Curiosity about how people learn—and how design can support that—led me to instructional design. Today, I partner with subject matter experts to create learning experiences and resources that are strategic, accessible, and visually effective.

I believe thoughtful design has the power to make knowledge more accessible and help people do their best work.
